Paramedic Service Update:

The Local released a report “A Service in Crisis” late in January and has completed two bursts of media work around the report. 503 members in the Paramedic Service that we have personal emails for received a communication Tuesday, March 15th with next steps including the CUPE Ontario CACO “911 We Can’t Wait” campaign, our media spots from last week and a 1 Question survey on how we move forward with addressing the first concern highlighted by the report.

Employer Vaccination Policy Update:

The Local has communicated with the Employers who have vaccination policies in place to inquire about their next steps. We have yet to receive any information from the Employers. Our Policy Grievances remain and dates for Arbitration commence in May 2022. We expect these Policy Grievances hearings will take multiple dates.
