Earlier today, CUPE 503 was informed of the passing of one of our members who worked at Peter D Clark Long Term Care and had tested positive for COVID-19. The family has expressed their wishes for their loved one’s name to not be released at this time. The union has been in communication with the Employer throughout the day to ensure supports are in place for our members who are impacted by the loss of their colleague. CUPE 503 recognizes the dedication of the members who are providing care to the most vulnerable residents each and every day and we are sending solidarity and strength during this very difficult time.
