Announcements for September 2021

Based on the Province of Ontario maintaining Stage 3 of re-opening the province and the limit within that stage of gatherings of no more than 25 people it appears that we will not be able to have our in-person General Membership Meetings as long as we stay in Phase 3, As an alternative we will be hosting a Telephone Town Hall for September.

Reminder All Members Telephone Town Hall

On Monday, September 27th at 7pm, CUPE 503 will be hosting a Telephone Town Hall. We will be providing important updates for the membership but will also have a Q&A Session. We expect the town hall to last for 90 minutes.

Pre-registration is required by emailing Heather at [email protected] and providing your name, workplace, and the telephone number you wish to be called at. Your name and telephone number will be provided to a third party vendor to participate in the Town Hall. The Registration Deadline is Thursday, September 23rd at 4:30pm as we must provide the call out list in advance.

How it works? A call list provided to Union Calling and right around 7pm on Monday, September 27th you will receive a call to your telephone number from a 905 area code. Simply pick up the phone cal and you will be placed in the cue to join.

Did you miss picking up the call? That’s ok…time to check your voicemail. A call in number and unique access code will be left in a voicemail for you for you to call in and join the Town Hall.

We look forward to connecting with you. Not able to make the call? No problem…the September Membership Update will be sent out shortly after the town hall and posted on our website that will include the highlights.
